In Clinical hospital "Medsi" in Otradnoye started new MRT Philips Ingenia of 1.5 T

2020: Start of the magnetic and resonant Philips Ingenia 1.5T tomograph in the Center of radiodiagnosis

On September 3, 2020 in the Center of radiodiagnosis in To clinical hospital "Medsi" in Otradnoye there took place start magnetic and resonant tomograph Philips Ingenia 1.5T. As told in the company Royal Philips, the system created on the basis of architecture of dStream became the first MRT in which digitization of the MR-signal is executed directly in the RF coil, i.e. is the closest to the patient. In particular, it allows to define more accurately borders tumors and to receive high-precision images for planning and timely medical assistance to patients.

At a ceremony of start of the device there were an operating officer, the board member of JSC Medsi Group Rodion Stupin, the chief physician of Clinical hospital "Medsi" in Otradnoye professor Tatyana Shapovalenko, the commercial director of the Health care direction of Philips in Russia Nikolay Sivak.

Digital noise on images decreases to 40% therefore specialists can distinguish even the most minor changes in structure of the studied bodies and fabrics and receive the high level of diagnostic accuracy. The comfort of the patient also increases: the time spent in the device MRT is reduced by 2-3 times, noted in Philips.

The manager of department of radiodiagnosis of Clinical hospital "Medsi" in Otradnoye, the radiologist Danil Malyutin, noted important features of MRT: an opportunity to visualize changes of soft fabrics at the level of the set metal implants and also availability of the complete software package for a neuroradiology and diagnosis of tumors.

For the analysis of medical images of all modalities in Medsi the professional radiological Philips IntelliSpace Portal system integrating all service of radiodiagnosis of network based on a single platform is installed. The solution contains about 70 appendices for the expert analysis of medical images, decision supports and minimization of a human factor in interpretation of data.
