At the end of June 2025, United Aircraft Corporation"" (UAC) completed the new 4th phase of development of the product lifecycle management platform () PLM for its enterprises. The solution is based on the Russian software package T-FLEX PLM created by the company "."Top Systems

The platform was developed within the framework of a particularly significant project, the main task of which is to create the most unified domestic industry solution that widely covers the processes of software control in the aircraft industry. The product takes into account the peculiarities of the implementation of aviation programs of different types, the design features of the aircraft being created and the requirements of their customers based on approaches and methods of system engineering.

Several divisions and subsidiaries of the UAC participate in the implementation of the project. The Russian Information Technology Development Fund (RFRIT) has provided a grant for the creation of the platform.

The RFRIT website states that the amount of the grant for the project for the introduction of a unified information environment of PJSC UAC for managing the processes of developing AT products based on approaches and methods of system engineering and managing their life cycle amounted to 2.36 billion rubles.

In the course of the work performed, as noted, the domestic PLM platform was adapted to the peculiarities of the departments and enterprises of the UAC involved in the project, as well as most of the improvement of the PLM platform was completed to the requirements of industry participants. The revision and adaptation of the T-FLEX PLM will continue as the system is tested and feedback from the UAC employees involved in the project, TAdviser was specified in Top Systems.

It is expected that the new PLM system will improve the efficiency of development work and organize digital scientific and technical support for all stages of the product life cycle. In addition, the introduction of the product will contribute to the transition to a single industrial production model and achieve the technological sovereignty of the industry. The project involves import substitution of existing PLM, RM, PM, PDM, CAD, CAE, CAPP systems at KLA sites. It is also planned to form an industry center for PLM-competencies of the UAC.[1]
