"An electric board Samara" started an online configurator of secondary schemes

On April 29, 2019 the Electric Board Samara company announced completion of development of an online configurator of a packet of secondary schemes of RZA-Builder. Thanks to what customers of the enterprise will be able directly to configure a product on the website of the enterprise and within several minutes to receive a set of schemes of secondary chains. The ASCON-Samara company developed the web interface for RZA-Builder configurator.

In a situation when the enterprise receives the urgent requisition on participation in the tender, in limited terms it is necessary to prepare TKP, and before they are to find analogs, to pick up a basic product, to prepare the project documentation, to calculate production time and cost value of a product. At each stage the probability of emergence of the problems connected with a human factor is high: beginning from involvement of the highly qualified specialists capable to carry out a task in a short space of time, before hours-long work of the employees, in the manual mode planning production and assessment of its cost value.

Thus the list of problems, one of which the developer by creation of an online configurator had to solve, was created. First, to create the data warehouse, arriving from technical specialists, with convenient navigation for quick search of the necessary information. Secondly, the potential customer or the enterprise should quickly and without errors to configure a product on the website.

Within the project RZA Builder configurator on selection of schemes of relay protection and automatic equipment (RZA) which allowed to reduce time for design of RZA considerably was developed. For creation of a configurator of the scheme RZA were separated into fragments and rules of connection of separate fragments in the general scheme are developed.

The developer and the customer considered different options of distribution RZA Builder which met necessary conditions – ease of use, stability of work and idle time access to a configurator. As a result the decision to develop the web interface was made. The task of creation of the web interface was assigned to AsconSamara- company.

Access to clients of the plant to a configurator of RZA Builder allowed to reduce time for design and approval of RZA. If earlier development process and approvals of schemes took several weeks, then using a configurator clients and partners of the plant receive a complete set in the.dwg or.pdf format within 15 minutes. Besides, due to use of the uniform rules and fragments put in a configurator it is possible to reduce considerably errors at design.
