Cloud4Y transferred telephony of "Elkom-Elektro" to a cloud

2020: Transfer of telephony to Cloud4Y cloud

The Cloud4Y company announced on December 2, 2020 that it transferred telephony of Elkom-Elektro company to a cloud.

Increase in number of branches and the growing customer base led to the raised load of own telephony of the company. There were not enough being available capacities for normal conducting work, and hardware upgrade required excessively big costs. Therefore in "Elkom-Elektro" decided to use the solution of corporate cloud provider of Cloud4Y, having rented servers on the IaaS model. Test resources under virtual telephony were provided on the same day when they were requested. Later, having estimated benefits of use of a cloud platform of Cloud4Y, "Elkom-Elektro" signed the full agreement with provider.

On a response of the customer, migration in a cloud was profitable for several reasons at once. First of all, this fast obtaining the necessary quantity of resources for normal conducting business processes of the company. Secondly, estimated lack of need to put considerable resources on upgrade of infrastructure at simultaneous quality improvement of work of employees at the companies. Thirdly, transfer of responsibility for stable work and regular infrastructure maintenance to the staff of provider allowed "Elkom-Elektro" to lower load of regular IT specialists.

The virtual server Cloud4Y is convenient that the company client defines necessary number of cores, the amount of memory, the size and quantity of disks, being guided by own requirements. The virtual server can be constructed both on the Windows platform, and on Linux. At the same time the concept of Pay-As-You-Go allows the company to save as not to have to pay for not used resources.

The Elkom-Elektro company is going to use cloud infrastructure of Cloud4Y further. It is assumed that cooperation will be expanded.
