2020: Providing computing powers of ServicePipe for search of therapeutic antibodies
On May 25, 2020 the ServicePipe company specializing in information security supported the international campaign of Washington University in St. Louis (USA) directed to fight against a coronavirus pandemic.
The university of Washington creates the project – the platform of distributed computing Folding@Home to which different laboratories were connected worldwide. These laboratories use computing powers which are voluntarily provided by participants worldwide, for simulating of work of a coronavirus and its reaction to different chemical components.
Within this stock ServicePipe provides the volume of computing powers of the company. They will be used for search of therapeutic antibodies which block linking of protein with tissues of the person. Such antibodies were already developed for SARS, scientific it is necessary to understand the mechanism of binding of proteins COVID-19 better.
