2021: Solvo.WMS Implementation

IBS provides support for 1C: ERP logistics processes implemented in integration with Solvo.WMS warehouse management for the SVOBODA cosmetics factory. The contract provides not only support and support for users, but also the development of the functionality of systems and integration flows. IBS reported this on November 17, 2021.

Since the operability of the data exchange mechanisms between 1C and Solvo.WMS is important for the continuous operation of the factory, their support was outsourced. As part of the support, IBS specialists had to optimize and stabilize the interaction between the two systems, synchronize the data and ensure its high quality.

For more than a year, IBS has been operating the exchange gateway between 1C: ERP Enterprise Management and Solvo.WMS in accordance with the SLA (Service Level Agreement). Also, the scope of services provided includes consulting users and the development of integration.

The peculiarity of the project is that our team did not take on the support of a ready-made implemented mechanism, but a mechanism that was still in the stabilization stage. This is more difficult, because we received much more calls from users,
said Evgeny Samokhvalov, head of the 1C system support and development department of IBS.

2018

On November 27, 2018, IBS reported that the introduction of 1C: ERP into the management system of LIBERTY JSC allowed the company to improve the quality of automation of business process management and transparency of all types of accounting.

Part of the company's business processes was historically carried out on the basis of a self-described information system. With the development of the company's business, its limitations became obvious: the inability to automate part of important business processes, dependence on unique specialists on the market serving the system, restrictions on making changes, including in regulated reporting.

The management of LIBERTY JSC decided to comprehensively transfer IT systems to the 1C: ERP Enterprise Management platform, aiming to maintain all types of accounting (operational, accounting and tax) in the implemented system. IBS became the technology partner in the project.

The decision to transfer SVOBODA JSC to another technological level of production process management was made taking into account the plans for the development of all three existing production facilities and a significant increase in the range of output to the market of manufactured products.

In a short time, the IBS team, in collaboration with SVOBODA business experts, set up, adapted and put into commercial operation typical 1C functional units:ERP migrated processes and data from the previous system (Purchasing and Warehouse, Manufacturing, Cost Accounting and Pricing, Sales and Shipping, Marketing), and developed and successfully implemented the Quality Management subsystem, which allows you to confirm that the 1C: ERP system meets the requirements of the GMP standard.

The subsystem introduced by us now allows the enterprise to conduct deep analytics of the production chain up to the batch of raw materials from which the products are made. This is useful in both claims and inventory management, as well as in optimizing sales and marketing processes.

The implementation of the 1C solution allowed FREEDOM JSC to increase the transparency of accounting and automate business processes that were not covered by the previous system. With the help of the implemented system, the company carries out as of November 2018:

  • Management of shelf life of raw materials and products;
  • Real-time inventory monitoring;
  • Calculation of accurate material requirements, reduction of reserve reserves of expensive raw materials and reduction of production disruptions;
  • Control of actual production costs;
  • Analytically informed pricing and marketing policy.
