2021: Introduction of Vitro-CAD

The company Glavtelecom"" on December 28, 2023 shared the history of the introduction of ASUPD Vitro-CAD in the industrial ChineseBelarusian park The Great Stone"," as well as the results of the project.

The Chinese-Belarusian industrial park "Great Stone" is a territorial entity with a special legal regime to ensure comfortable business conditions 25 km from the capital of the Republic of Belarus - Minsk. In fact, it is an international eco-city with an emphasis on high-tech and competitive innovative production with high export potential. The project is developing within the framework of interstate Sino-Belarusian cooperation.

The digital direction represented by the knowledge base created by the Vitro-CAD system platform is being developed to store structured information and knowledge with organized differentiated access to the system (taking into account the user's role and the stage of the object's life cycle).

The Vitro-CAD Workflow module is used to interact with all system participants, including those who are geographically remote.

The goals and objectives of the introduction of the Vitro-CAD system were to systematize the storage of project documentation, to increase "transparency" (information openness) for project implementation participants; improving the security of project documentation storage; Automation of documentation management business processes implementation of a project approach to document management, as well as optimization of human resources for working with documents.

High requirements were also placed on data security, including the possibility of sharing access rights.

With the help of the contractor - ChTUP Glavtelecom - a single automated environment of general Vitro-CAD data was implemented and set up.

The system provides a design approach to the implementation of construction projects. Unique groups are created for each project with extended rights in terms of their competencies. The possibility of prompt communication between external and internal key participants is organized to solve complex issues. Document retention structures are created using templates.

External key participants are given the opportunity to use the system as an additional electronic archive. Particular attention is paid to the retrospective of the objects being implemented as a tool for practical training of project teams.

The Vitro-CAD system allows you to manage access rights to. information Rights are assigned by responsible employees themselves without contacting IT the service. The system records all user actions in the log, which allows you to analyze and determine the causes of probable problems. In case of suspicious user actions related to data upload, the responsible employees should be notified immediately. The Vitro-CAD functionality includes means to protect against unauthorized access to information stored in it, mechanisms that authentications uniquely determine the user and his rights to access content.

The following modules and libraries are implemented: Design Module, Construction Module, Project Management Module.

The Vitro Workflows functionality is configured using the system tools. Business processes are organized for coordination and acceptance of documentation between the customer, the design institute and the contractor. This functionality allows you to carry out coordination without using hard copies, accept documents from contractors in electronic form (including as-built).

Business processes are built using the "Comment Register" tool (role-based status change, chat by comments, flexible filtering, attachment of documents from the Vitro-CAD general data environment).

A large-scale instruction (wiki type) has been developed that describes the functionality of the system and contains instructions for users of various roles.

Implementation of the Vitro-CAD automated design data management system allowed to establish the Customer's interaction with designers and contractors, to increase the speed of data transfer on changes to the design documentation, to organize access to the design documentation in electronic form at any time, to create an electronic version of the working and as-built documentation.

In the context of high rates of construction projects, the Vitro-CAD system introduced in the Great Stone Industrial Park allows the customer to efficiently process a large amount of information, quickly exchange working and as-built documentation, reduce the time for coordinating decisions, structure and coordinate data.
