Technoserv executes a commissioning with a boiler power of 65 MW in Yakutsk

2020: Beginning of works on a commissioning of the equipment with a boiler power up to 65 MW

On April 27, 2020 the Technoserv company, one of the Russian system integrators, announced the beginning of works on a commissioning of the equipment with a boiler power up to 65 MW. in Yakutsk.

The boiler house "Lermontova 200" is intended for heat supply of actively developing districts No. 93 and No. 94 of Yakutsk. For April 27, 2020 specialists of Technoserv passed to a stage of a commissioning of the mounted equipment. Since April 15, 2020 specialists Technoserv and specialists of JSC Teploenergiya Yakutsk executed trial "hot" start-up which are an element of complex approbation: were tested with possible values of operating parameters. These procedures allowed to make sure of quality of installation of all equipment and to adjust settings of the managing systems, to confirm their working capacity.

Though works are performed during a quarantine, everything passes in the normal mode, and objects of the JSC Teploenergiya enterprise Yakutsk continue to provide reliably permanent heat supply of inhabitants, noted Mikhail Vorobyov, the CEO of JSC Teploenergiya

Earlier Technoserv performed a complex of works, including engineering-geological researches, development of the design estimates, installation and construction works, delivery and installation of technology equipment. It was executed within the project on reconstruction by the existing boiler house with transfer of a part of the equipment of the old building in new in which 3 boilers (the first starting stage) with a thermal power of 13 MW each, 3 modern bifuel torches and also energy efficient ancillary equipment were installed. At the first stage of reconstruction thermal power increases up to 39 MW, covers needs of residents of areas even taking into account future new settlers.

Technoserv has a big know-how in implementation of large projects in the field of housing and public utilities and power including in Yakutia. So, in 2016 we successfully built "turnkey" two coal boiler houses with a total thermal power of 25 MW in the settlement of Cherskiy of Nizhnekolymsky district. 2018

Complex of installation and construction works

On August 7, 2018 the Technoserv company reported that it within the next contract with JSC Teploenergiya in 2018 will execute a full range of installation and construction works, including installation and installation of three boilers with a thermal power of 13 MW which are completed with modern torches and boiler control panels.

According to the company, energy efficient ancillary equipment will also be installed. The boiler house will be equipped with metering devices of heat rate and water, automation systems, by schedulings, regulations and protection of the equipment against the critical parameters allowing to work without participation of service staff.

According to the results of the project the total power of the boiler house "Lermontova 200" will grow by 3 times in comparison with the current indicators: from 11 to 39 MW. Thus, an object will be able to provide with heat of all consumers of areas No. 93 and No. 94 and also future new settlers of nearly 20 nearby multi-storey apartment houses which are going to be built till 2022.

Also it was noted that earlier in the settlement of Cherskiy of the Nizhnekolymsky Region of Sakha (Yakutia) Republic Technoserv built two "turnkey" boiler houses (with a thermal power of 25 MW). During the project Technoserv executed a full range of works: researches, design, equipment procurement and its tests on manufacturing plant, delivery through the Northern Sea Route (NSR), installation and a commissioning, delivery to the state commission and personnel training of the customer. The term of implementation was 24 months that is caused by a short construction season and difficult logistics of the northern region where the main transport arteries are SMP and the Yakut rivers – Lena, Kolyma, etc.

Concept of development of the districts of Yakutsk

The city concept of development of areas No. 93 and No. 94 and the quarters adjoining to them means creation of the sredneetazhny and multi-storey housing estate and also territories with a broad spectrum of the administrative, business, public, cultural, servicing and commercial buildings. In the long term it means emergence of an additional heavy heat load. Taking into account all these factors reconstruction of the boiler house "Lermontova 200" is carried out.

Project Tasks

Heat supply (heating and hot water supply) of 90 residential and administrative buildings of the districts No. 93 and No. 94 of Yakutsk is provided by the boiler house "Lermontova 200". Its basic work items are boilers, a part from which is put into operation in the eighties of the 20th century.

By March, 2017 the capital and ancillary equipment of the boiler house developed a normative resource.

Taking into account all these factors the administration of Yakutsk made the decision on complex reconstruction of the boiler house.

Within the project Technoserv will perform a complex of works on engineering-geological researches, will develop the design estimates and will perform works on support of documentation when passing examination.

Reconstruction of the boiler house provides expansion of the available building with installation of five boilers with a thermal power of 13 MW everyone, five modern torches, four of which bifuel, and installation of energy efficient ancillary equipment. Reconstruction will allow to achieve increase in power of the boiler house from 19 MW to 65 MW.

Project Progress

On September 8, 2017 Technoserv, system integrator, and MPU Heat power, "Enterprise for Production and Transportation of Thermal Energy" municipal unitary enterprise of Yakutsk, in the run-up to the City Day of Yakutsk in the Saysarsky district set the first pile of the boiler house "Lermontova 200".

The event marked the beginning of works on construction of a zero cycle of the boiler house which will provide heat supply (heating and hot water supply) of 60 residential and administrative buildings of the districts No. 93 and No. 94 of Yakutsk. Heat power on this stage of works is selected by the contractor of MPU on an open competition Technoserv IT company.

Reconstruction of the boiler house "Lermontova 200" provides expansion of the available building with installation of five boilers with a thermal power of 13 MW everyone, five modern torches, four of which bifuel, and energy efficient ancillary equipment.

It is expected that reconstruction will allow to achieve increase in power of the boiler house from the current 19 MW to 65 MW — almost by 3.5 times that will provide with heat of all consumers of areas No. 93 and No. 94 and also their future new settlers during the most severe cold weather.
