MTS developed and implemented on the cloud platform #CloudMTS an automated system on remote monitoring and collecting of indications of power meters. It allowed the electric grid company to save up to 30 percent of expenses on operational processes. In the project the certified cloud segment which ensures high safety and corresponds 152-FZ "About personal data" is used .

MTS automated process of monitoring of information on more, than 10,000 metering devices of JSC NESK-elektroseti. Data from devices accumulates in a cloud of provider. The electric grid company did not need to buy and install installation the additional hardware — storage and processing of all data is performed on the cloud platform#CloudMTS. The staff of the electric grid company can get access to indications at any time far off via secure channels of data transmission. In case of emergency situations the automated system itself sends the notification by the SMS or e-mail.
