On July 12, 2019 the CORUS Consulting company announced the beginning of the project on process automation of logistics in Irkutsk Oil Company (IOC). The information system of the customer based on 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management is waited by serious upgrade as a result of which the number of deliveries of MTR with deviations on terms will decrease, the accuracy of solutions on management of warehouse stocks will increase.
Rapid growth of INK created need for review of methodology of replenishment action of materials. A project objective – to adjust accomplishment of delivery time, to optimize warehouse stocks.
On start of the project the company carried out large-scale analytical and methodological work on inventory management of the material resources (MR). Nomenclature categorization algorithms ABC/XYZ/FMR were developed, the replenishment action technique depending on cost and regularity of deliveries is defined. Pilot calculations for the limited list of nomenclatures and a range categorization successfully came to the end. Expansion of the list of the filled-up materials and automation of the developed methodology will become the next stage.
For design and completion of an information system based on 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management the management of INK invited specialists of Corus Consulting. Experts of Corus Consulting automate methodology of providing MTR: calculation will happen on the basis of the current reserves of material and its analogs, resources in way, data on stability of demand, rules of replenishment and a number of restrictions. Updating of an information system based on 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management will allow INK to optimize the level of warehouse stocks of MTR, to reduce excess storage and to minimize labor costs when implementing the corresponding functions.
