On December 5, 2019 Microsoft KPMG , they announced the conclusion of a 5-year contract, under which one of the world's largest audit companies began a large-scale process of digital transformation. The cost of the project is $5 billion.
KPMG has agreed to introduce Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365 products, which will be used by 207 thousand employees in 153 countries.
In addition, the company will use Microsoft Azure and Azure AI solutions as preferred technologies that will form the basis of Microsoft Clara's global cloud platform. The future platform is expected to help KPMG develop new capabilities in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and robotic process automation (RPA).
KPMG Clara is an automated, flexible, intelligent and scalable platform that enables KPMG professionals to work smarter by combining powerful data and analytics capabilities in one interface while enabling customers to interact in real time with the audit process.
KPMG Clara will integrate with Microsoft Teams, providing a platform for audit professionals to centrally manage and securely share audit files, track audit-related activities, and communicate through chat, audio-video conferencing. This helps to simplify the auditors' workflow by ensuring that they are in constant synchronization and communication with customers.
As part of their collaboration, Microsoft and KPMG will also jointly launch an incubator, whose participants will develop solutions for transforming cloud business, smart workplaces and smart business analytics. In particular, it is planned to create tools for health care.[1]
