About Project Organization and Prerequisites

The Russian society "Knowledge" is an educational organization of Russia, the country's main platform for open dialogue between young people and outstanding people. The organization's projects are aimed at popularizing scientific knowledge, developing and educating youth, forming a sense of pride in the country and its achievements in science and technology, sports, art and other fields. As of February 2025, the community of lecturers "Knowledge" is more than 32 thousand people.

A few years ago, the management of the Knowledge Society set a goal to make the joint work of employees more convenient and transparent, and at the same time create a comfortable digital space for the development of internal communications and corporate culture. To solve this problem, we chose the Bitrix24 platform, which made it possible to create a single hub for work and automate HR processes in an interface familiar to employees.

The development of the task module and the active creation of smart processes have become key drivers of platform growth. Along with traffic and audience, the maturity of users grew, which, in turn, formed higher requirements for the functionality of the environment. It ceased to be just a tool, turning into the main workspace of employees. The organization needed not just to update the interface, but to create a friendly UX/UI platform design and combine all corporate services in a single digital space.

Platform Selection and Project Implementation

After analyzing the market, the Knowledge Society chose the ready-made K-Team HRM solution from KORUS Consulting, which made it possible to comprehensively approach the project and think about its further scaling. The key condition was the possibility of subsequent development of unique modules for specific business processes of the organization, such as, for example, a customized task tracker for project management. The focus of the first phase was on dramatically changing the user experience - a revamped interface, corporate branding, modern design and thoughtful navigation. All these factors made it possible to significantly increase employee engagement.

Expanded profiles with professional competencies appeared in the personal account, which simplified internal communications and the search for experts within the organization. For internal recruitment, the Vacancies module is actively used. An updated news feed with detailed view analytics allowed the HR team to revise the content strategy. The updated functionality, in turn, helps to focus the attention of employees and build an effective information system.

Today's enterprise platform is more than an HR automation tool. We paid special attention to ensuring that every element of the interface, from the color scheme to the interaction logic, works to strengthen internal ties and create a sense of team unity. The updated corporate portal is the foundation, which in the future will become a full-fledged ecosystem, where each employee can solve any work tasks simply and with pleasure.

First Results and Development Plans

Already in the first months after its launch in December 2025, the portal confirmed its effectiveness as the main workspace: hundreds of employees use the platform every day. But the main result is consistently positive feedback from users.

Our goal is not just to give people an IT tool, but to create a living, evolving digital environment. A convenient portal where employees can communicate, recognize each other, see internal vacancies and current news is the first but critical step towards building a strong internal community. We are already planning to actively develop the platform, namely the implementation of the module "Management by Goals and KPI," integration with other systems of the organization, as well as the launch of gamification and a prize store for additional motivation of employees.
