The largest car maker of Turkey implemented Russian software

On April 18, 2019 the TrueConf company announced that Koluman Holding, the largest dealer of Mercedes-Benz and one of the leading Turkish manufacturers of construction, airfield, military and cargo vehicles, implemented program system of a video conferencing of TrueConf Server to replace the hardware MCU server from Polycom. The solution TrueConf integrated more than 700 employees and also provided integration of a VIDEOCONFERENCING system from the current SIP/H.323 with infrastructure of the company.

The Turkish car maker Koluman Holding implemented Russian software for a video conferencing

Koluman Holding services clients worldwide, including the European Union countries, Turkey and Russia. Koluman has an extensive branch network through the whole country, and the video conferencing is for the company the irreplaceable tool for communication and joint work.

Within several years the company used the hardware VIDEOCONFERENCING server of Polycom of RMX, and SIP/H.323 terminals for communication with colleagues from remote divisions, clients and business partners. However, frequent failures in work and complexity of service of such VIDEOCONFERENCING network and also low scalability of the MCU server forced Koluman Holding to refuse the existing VIDEOCONFERENCING infrastructure for benefit of more modern solution. Search of a suitable visual communication system was at a loss an important condition — need of integration with SIP and H.323 terminals which the company was going to use further in meeting rooms. TrueConf Server equipped with the built-in multiplatform gateway completely met the main requirement of the customer.

Simplicity of administration became other important factor when choosing TrueConf Server — IT engineers of Koluman needed no more than 20 minutes to unroll and configure the server and to connect all necessary equipment. Now all corporate information is stored on servers of the company, and administrators had a full control over confidential data.

Cross-platform client applications of TrueConf provided to the staff of Koluman an opportunity to be connected to video conferences from the notebooks, tablets and mobile devices, and tools for joint work allow to share content, to show the presentations, to communicate in a chat and to write video conference sessions.

In future Koluman Holding is going to scale VIDEOCONFERENCING network on bigger quantity of conference rooms and to hold webinars together with partners.
