In Kostromagorvodokanal works on upgrade of dispatching system based on the SCADA KRUG-2000 are performed

On August 16, 2018 the KRUG Scientific and production firm company announced upgrade of dispatching system based on the SCADA KRUG-2000 of Kostromagorvodokanal Municipal Unitary Enterprise.

According to the company, dispatching system (ASDU) was implemented by KRUG Scientific and production firm in 2010. During operation events for expansion of a system were repeatedly held by forces of specialists of Kostromagorvodokanal Municipal Unitary Enterprise. From the moment of start-up the information power of a system increased more than by 6 times.

Upgrade of ASDU is carried out due to the need of an automatic pressure maintenance in a city water supply system according to the temporary diagram.

According to representatives of the company, within upgrade the following works are performed:

• the database and the application program of the controller of the pumping filtration plant (PFP) are modified;
• the graphical interface on an automated workplace of the operator of NFS is updated;
• the database and the graphical interface on an automated workplace of the emergency service manager are modified;
• data exchange of the DevLink-C1000 controller of pump filtration plant with frequency transformers and modules of input-output DevLink is configured.

Also it was reported that KRUG company far off carried out commissioning jointly with specialists of Kostromagorvodokanal Municipal Unitary Enterprise. It allowed to reduce considerably time and cost of carrying out these works.
