EcoFlow Equipment Usage

A company EcoFlow specializing in renewable solutions power engineering specialists took part in the exercise. " LisaAlert Recently, the unit was handed over equipment that helps to solve the issues of uninterrupted supply of energy to the headquarters during search operations, and its participation in field exercises made it possible to assess the effectiveness of previously donated equipment. This was announced LisaAlert by "" on December 1, 2023.

The LizaAlert detachment is looking for the missing, using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and other energy-intensive equipment. The activities of all areas of the detachment are aimed at responding as quickly as possible for each search request. Drones, on the other hand, are able to significantly reduce the search time and search for a person in distress where it is difficult or impossible for foot search engines - for example, over huge fields or wetlands.

Provided by EcoFlow, portable charging stations provide continuous operation of both UAVs and the entire search headquarters, and are used to recharge laptops of cartographers and coordinators, as well as batteries for lights and walkie-talkies.

Since the search for the missing is about complex, energy-consuming tasks from a day or more, in the process of their implementation, the equipment of the volunteers of the LizaAlert detachment is quickly discharged, and the ability to connect to the power grid is often limited by the working conditions in the natural environment.

The effectiveness of the use of EcoFlow equipment was confirmed by the recent exercises of the detachment, carried out in conditions as close as possible to the real ones, in the vicinity of the city of Pereslavl-Zalessky, Yaroslavl Region.

Data collection for neural network training

In Stavropol, volunteers of the Liza Alert detachment collected photographic data to train neural networks to search for people. The detachment announced this on April 12, 2023.

The combination of neural networks, artificial intelligence and machine learning will speed up the search for missing people and make it more effective.

For April 2023, Lisa Alert volunteers form a dataset with photographs of Stavropol at different times of the year and with different plant coatings, as well as various components of the earth's surface. This will allow neural networks to successfully cope with the task regardless of when the search began.

Every day from March 16 to March 19, 2023, sixteen extras of the search squad "Lisa Alert" were sent to one of the districts of the city to collect the necessary materials for the database. Volunteers did not set up camps, but worked in the most real field conditions, successfully overcoming both household and technical restrictions. Almost all the time, they used cameras and laptops to which the footage was directed. Processing and transferring images is a resource-intensive task, so the equipment needed to recharge more often than usual. At the same time, in the field, it is important that you can restore battery power quickly, without attracting complex, expensive or bulky equipment.

The volunteers of the Lisa Alert search squad were helped to cope with the task by the EcoFlow Delta 2 portable charging stations. They provided a reliable and practical source of energy where getting it in other ways was problematic. These devices exhibit the best charging speed in the field and charge seven times faster than similar portable power plants. After the next stage of operation, the EcoFlow Delta 2 portable station returns to service in the shortest possible time - recharging from 0% to 100% takes only 80 minutes. This made it possible to work on the ground without long breaks and significantly speed up the fulfillment of the task assigned to the extras.

One of the missions of EcoFlow, along with the popularization of non-volatile solutions, is to ensure that new technologies in the field of electricity generation are of practical use in a variety of life situations. We help to stay in touch under any conditions, and in the case of the search squad "Lisa Alert" are involved in the implementation of one of the largest social projects created on a volunteer basis. We are proud that our solutions help optimize the process of finding people and facilitate the difficult work of volunteers, who often have to perform a variety of tasks in the field, without access to traditional energy sources.
said Aydos Iskakov, head of sales at EcoFlow in the CIS.

Transfer of EcoFlow Delta 2 and EcoFlow River 2 portable charging stations

On January 27, 2023, EcoFlow, a company specializing in renewable power solutions, announced the launch of a joint project with LisaAlert. At the end of January 2023, the search squad was handed over portable charging stations from the DELTA 2 and RIVER 2 lines, as well as solar panels that can solve the problem of quick discharge of drones and their more efficient use in search operations.

Volunteer search and rescue squad "LizaAlert" is looking for missing people in the city and in the forest, using, among other things, unmanned aerial vehicles). The activities of all areas of the detachment are aimed at responding as quickly as possible for each search request. Drones, on the other hand, are able to significantly reduce the search time and conduct research of the area, where this is technically impossible or difficult to implement on foot search engines - for example, over wetlands.

Portable charging stations provided by EcoFlow are used to ensure continuous operation of UAVs, recharging lights and walkie-talkies, as well as laptops of each of the search engines. The equipment is used for operational analysis of images obtained using a special application for the search for missing people. A special algorithm that is based on artificial intelligence technologies reduces the time for viewing and sorting images by two and a half times. Since we are talking about a complex energy-consuming task, in the process of its implementation, the laptops of the volunteers of the LizaAlert detachment are quickly discharged, and the ability to quickly connect to the power grid is limited by working conditions.

LisaAlert uses all available tools to help more effectively search for missing people. In 2023, EcoFlow portable stations were added to communications, UAVs and neural networks to solve the problem of rapid recovery of the charge of unmanned vehicles and laptops, which are used to process the footage. Even a small charging station with two AC outlets is capable of providing additional operating hours for the drone and several volunteer work computers. And this means more saved lives and happily returned people,
noted Gerasimov Evgeny, head of the direction of unmanned aviation "LizaAlert."

The development and production of portable charging stations for domestic and industrial use is a priority for EcoFlow. At the same time, the company is improving the world around it not only by the fame of environmentally friendly energy sources. The EcoFlow team actively implements approaches to corporate social responsibility, strives for meaningful work and with the help of its products helps in solving acute social problems.

EcoFlow's mission is to make energy consumption it accessible to people around the world. Along with the use of portable stations in conditions with limited access to, on, hiking to electricity travel or in the country, EcoFlow devices can also be used in extreme situations during search operations. The use of portable charging stations will help make it easier for rescuers to operate them,
stated Iskakov Aydos, head of sales at EcoFlow in the CIS.
