2005: Implementation of SAP ERP Release 4.6 and SAP BW Release 3.5

The company BearingPoint has completed a project to create a single corporate data stores one based on the implementation of a module SAP BW covering all companies of the group "" LITASCO located in more than 10. countries

During the project, an accelerated implementation based on Standard Business Content was carried out. The first reports were prepared 1.5 months after the start of the project; the total duration of the project (except for the support phase) was 6 months.

The project was implemented by a group of 6 consultants from Russia, Germany, Great Britain and France. The BW project has been fully integrated with the SAP R/3 implementation project. Since both projects were carried out by the same company, combining the efforts of the SAP R/3 and SAP BW groups provided the customer with high quality results. The list of performed tasks includes:

• Create a global data warehouse block containing all transactional data (across multiple countries);
• Implementation of the US GAAP reporting package for consolidation;
• Implementation of the management reporting package;
• Implementation of operational reports for all areas;
• Loading of special data on material movement in MM;
• Development of additional information cubes reflecting all movements in real prices (including revaluation);
• The BW InfoCells were filled with data from the following SAP R/3 modules: FI (GL, AP, AR, AA) CO (OPA, COPA, CCA); MM (supply, CMP) SD.
