End of the second stage of upgrade of IT infrastructure

"Integration" carried out by Netrika the second stage of updating of hardware and technology infrastructure MIAC of Murmansk region. It became known on November 5, 2020. Growth of power of a computing cluster of the region is required for ensuring operability of information systems of health care during the work with the large volume of information.

Updating of a computing cluster of Murmansk region was carried out within the regional project "Creation of a Uniform Digital Circuit on the basis of Uniform State Health Information System". Accumulation of computing powers and their integration into the operating IT infrastructure became a main objective of upgrade.

We continue to create health care IT infrastructure gradually. In 2019 there passed the first stage of formation of a computing cluster, in 2020 – scale already created, – Andrey Nikitinsky, the head of Medical information and analytical center of Murmansk region notes. – The federal project on creation of a uniform digital circuit of health care is planned for a period of up to 2024, work on providing IT infrastructure at the level of the region is some of their stages on achievement of goals of the project.

Convergent solutions were applied to project implementation. They help to manage load of IT infrastructure flexibly: in short terms to supplement it with the hardware. Besides, it is easier to service such solutions due to work of technical support in a format of "single window".

According to the results of the project performance of a computing cluster MIAC of Murmansk region significantly increased. At the same time increase in power did not demand the high growth of costs of the electric power and the areas for placement of the equipment. Also we could increase fault tolerance level that as a result will lead to gain of information security and protection of medical data – for example, results of laboratory and instrumental researches, diagnoses and appointments, – Ruslan Harlashin, the head of sales department of the company "comments on Netrika Integration".

"Netrika Integration" implemented the project in 60 days, works were handed over at the end of August. For November, 2020 the computing cluster of Murmansk region works at full capacity.

Upgrade of a computing cluster

The Netrika Integration company announced on February 27, 2020 project implementation on upgrade of a computing cluster MIAC of Murmansk region. Updating of a cluster MIAC is a part of the regional project "Creation of a Uniform Digital Circuit on the basis of Uniform State Health Information System" in the territory of Murmansk region.

The key project objective was to solve a problem of a lack of computing resources for placement of regional subsystems of health care of Murmansk region. For project implementation the enterprise level equipment capable to maintain high loads, including active computing modules on the basis of convergent server solutions and storage systems was used.

Upgrade of a computing cluster is one of steps on creation of the Uniform digital circuit and development of mechanisms of interaction of the medical organizations on the basis of Uniform State Health Information System. Within the project it was important to create IT infrastructure which will provide the minimum costs and delays at access of medical institutions to necessary data",
comments Andrey Nikitinsky, the deputy heads. doctor, head of Medical information and analytical center of Murmansk region

Works on upgrade of a computing cluster began according to the results of tender in September, 2019, project implementation took about two months. For the end of February, 2020 the project is handed over and the cluster functions at full capacity.

When developing we used flexible convergent infrastructure which allows to accelerate deployment process, to predict and to timely add components at increase in loading, simplifies service and provides uniform point of entry for technical support. Convergent infrastructure helps to reduce costs for the electric power and also requires the smaller areas. Creation of the Uniform digital circuit in Murmansk region is a long-term large-scale project which will be according to the plan complete in 2024. Further the MIAC will be able to add computing powers to the cluster. We prepared the base which will allow to carry out further flexible scaling,
notes Sergey Ovsyannikov, the director of the company of Netrik Integration
