MTS the Bank organized quick response to cyberincidents using solutions of R-Vision

2019: Acceleration of response to cyberthreats

On January 31, 2019 it became known that MTS Bank accelerated response to cyberthreats and enhanced security of data assets using solutions of R-Vision.

Each event of security is fixed in uniform base R-Vision, attributed by information on its criticality, the related assets and users. Further in the automatic mode the employees responsible for processing of this incident are appointed, the provided algorithm of actions of a command of reaction is started and using scripts data collection, providing the aggregated analytics on an incident is performed. Working according to in advance developed instructions, specialists quickly neutralize threat and recover a normal operation mode. Information on all executed actions is stored in a system, the built-in mechanisms of exchange of data on incidents with the entrusted participants are provided, reports and reports automatically form. For all assets in a system the system of control checks on the basis of which conformity assessments to requirements of the Russian and international standards form is customized.

Automation of processing of incidents using the R-Vision platform became an important step in development of a system of cyber security of bank and brought notable results: labor costs were reduced, the processing speed of the arising incidents increased, the set metrics on reaction are observed. Due to automation of process of audit and control checks fulfillment of requirements of the methodical documents and standards set to the Central Bank of the Russian Federation and other regulators requires significantly less resources.

2017: Cybersecurity command center based on R-Vision

Thanks to command center information security based on the R-Vision platform the bank managed to strengthen control of security of data assets and to accelerate process of response to incidents.
