Rostec will create the systems of intellectual electricity metering and diagnostics of the equipment for Mechel Energo

2019: The agreement for the purpose of creation of a system of intellectual electricity metering and diagnostics of the equipment

On December 4, 2019 Rostec reported that the Avtomatika concern entering into it will be engaged in implementation of the systems of intellectual electricity metering, development of control systems and diagnostics of the equipment and also improvement of telecommunications of Mechel Energo LLC entering into the mining and metallurgical Mechel Group.

The relevant agreement was signed by the CEO of Mechel Energo Denis Graff and the deputy CEO of Avtomatika Concern Alexander Belov.

According to the agreement Rostec will create a number of the digital systems for Mechel. In particular, the automated complex for remote control and diagnostics of a status of the power equipment – boilers, turbines, turbine generators, electric motors, elements of high-voltage substations. Besides, creation of a system of collecting and data processing from power plants is planned. In the long term for management of all power complex of the Mechel Group the situational analytical center will be created.

Our solutions allow to control online operation of the equipment and to warn emergency situations, increase stability of work of a utilities equipment, reduce operating costs and costs for the electric power. Their implementation allows to improve energy efficiency of the enterprises and to optimize costs. It is sure that experience of implementation of digital solutions in Mechel company will become an incentive for development of the extracting and metallurgical industry in general, noted the CEO of Avtomatika Concern Vladimir Kabanov

Among the developments which are proposed to implement on objects of Mechel, also modern devices and the systems of intellectual electricity metering on domestic microelectronic base. The equipment will allow to trace online an electric power expense at the enterprises, to optimize energy consumption and to quickly eliminate failures.

High-tech import-substituting solutions of Avtomatika Concern in the field of power will allow Mechel Energo to carry out further upgrade of the power enterprises, equipping them with the modern equipment, noted the CEO of Mechel Energo LLC Denis Graff

"The digital electrician" will become one more significant project of Rostec for the benefit of Mechel: the mobile application intended for automation of activity of the personnel performing works on maintenance and repair. It will allow to plan tasks, to order transport and special equipment, to control performance of work and another.
