1 million licenses "MyOffice Education" will deliver in educational institutions of the Republic of Cameroon

2020: Delivery agreement and implementation of 1 million licenses "MyOffice Education"

On March 18, 2020 it became known that the New cloud technologies company and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Cameroon agreed about deliveries and implementation of 1 million licenses "MyOffice Education" to school and preschool institutions of Cameroon within 10 years. It is a precedent of export delivery of so large number of educational licenses, the first in the history of MyOffice, out of borders of the Russian Federation.

According to the company, the agreement was reached during a business mission to the Republic of Cameroon. The minister of primary education Laurent Etoundi declared the existing need for the office software for educational institutions and announced the beginning of a pilot project on the implementing solutions MyOffice in educational institutions of the country. The first 500 licenses "MyOffice Standard" are transferred for testing to the Ministry of Education of the Republic.

Implementation will begin with 10 schools in several provinces of the country. Preschool educational institutions, elementary and high schools of Cameroon will receive the software of MyOffice free of charge. Higher educational institutions will be able to purchase any components of an ecosystem MyOffice at a discount of 93%. Private users can use mobile versions of MyOffice which are distributed for free through shops applications for smartphones with operating systems Android and iOS.

Cameroon plays a special role in Africa, this state treats the countries with the most developed education system. Thanks to efforts of the Government, for the last 20 years the number of graduates of elementary schools, today them already more than 4.4 million people doubled. For the same period there was an explosive growth of penetration of the Internet in the country — nearly a quarter of the population has an exit in a global network. The agreement with the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Cameroon will serve as the beginning of effective cooperation of the company with government institutions of the African country. On project deliverables decisions on the implementing solutions MyOffice in other executive authorities of the country will be made.

For March, 2020 in Cameroon about 1000 private and public high and elementary schools work, they annually produce about 500 thousand pupils.
