The Neuro Angel neuroservice will increase learning efficiency in MFYuA

2020: Implementation of Neuro Angel service

On April 3, 2020 it became known that the Moscow financial and legal university (MFYuA) together with the Moscow information and technology university – the Moscow architectural and construction institute (MITU-MASI) implements in educational process neurotechnology service Neuro Angel from Laboratory of Knowledge company. It will increase learning efficiency of students in audiences and online.

The neuroservice in real time monitors a status of group of students, allowing to adjust educational process quickly. It analyzes levels of concentration, enthusiasm and stress, objectively estimating, how interestingly and well the lecturer states material. The teacher, having seen decrease in productivity of group or certain students, selects tools for activation of perception and increases time for mastering of discipline.

Except increase in learning efficiency in audience, testing of online courses of the university on the example of reaction of focus group with the subsequent completion of programs of distance learning is planned.

The amount of information, subject to studying within the existing curriculum, increases, teachers apply different techniques of stimulation of mastering of material. At the same time, it is not always possible to estimate objective reaction of students. It is connected with many factors: falling of attention at application of traditional techniques of conducting classroom occupations, low informational content of the presentation block, the minimum application of interactive forms of education. Obtaining information on a psychophysiological status of the student during a specific time frame allows to adapt quickly a material feed technique for easier mastering at a favorable emotional background, reduced reaction to external irritants, speaks Vladimir Shutenko, the vice rector for study of the MFYuA university, PhD Econ., the associate professor.

The Neuro Angel technology is most demanded by educational institutions and HR departments of the large companies. In each project implemented by us we study requirement of the organization and "we configure" technology under a specific request. The feature of the project in MFYuA consisted that except full-time courses the university has powerful Learning Management System - the platform of online education. In this format it is more difficult to carry away students, there is no opportunity to quickly receive a feedback, reading on eyes and to adjust the program directly during the lecture, told Alexander Makarov, the founder of Laboratory of Knowledge company

The Laboratory of Knowledge company provided training of members of the faculty and educational support personnel in work with a technology platform of Neuro Angel.

Teachers and the management of the university are interested in storing and further use of the taught material in practice. The university is ready to invest heavily for implementation of advanced technologies for the purpose of increase in efficiency of quality of education.
