2025: Development of the NLMK eDA application

QSOFT implemented a project to develop the NLMK eDA mobile application for NLMK Group. The solution made it easier to access hot food on the territory of the enterprise with an area of ​ ​ 2400 hectares, where 42 canteens operate and 340 rooms for eating are equipped. Qsoft announced this on March 4, 2025.

The objective of the project was to organize affordable hot meals for all NLMK Group employees with the possibility of receiving food at convenient points on the territory of the enterprise. It was necessary to create a service that combines order, payment and delivery of food. The solution was the NLMK eDA mobile application, which allows employees to order hot meals online and receive them in any specially equipped food area.

The application, developed by the QSOFT team, has become a full-fledged system that gives the holding's employees full control over their power supply. The functionality includes:

• Select a site and menu. Employees choose where they want to dine and get an up-to-date menu with prices for the selected date.
• Ordering dishes. You can order a set lunch or select individual items from various categories: "Cold dishes and snacks," "First," "Hot," "Side dishes," "Salads," and so on.
• Formation of an individual set. The ability to create your own set of dishes from different categories.
• Payment. Different payment methods are available: within the daily limit set by the company, in the salary account, in cash or by credit card.
• Order history. Users can track history, change or cancel orders, and rate food quality against four criteria.
• Personal account. Includes benefits information, support contacts, and a report on social privileges used.
• Item card. Allows you to view the calorie content, weight and composition of dishes.
• Push notifications. Order Status Alerts - Build, Ship, or Cancel.
• Delivery. The application has an online map with routes to the nearest catering facilities at the enterprise. At checkout, you can choose the place and time of delivery, as well as leave a comment for the courier.
• Basket. Displays all employee orders. Allows you to plan meals for future periods and make changes as needed.

NLMK eDA's corporate nutrition program has made it easier for employees working in remote parts of the enterprise to access hot meals and spend a lot of time traveling to the dining room. As a result, significant improvements were achieved:

• Corporate catering coverage increased by 7%, making it accessible to all.
• The popularity of lunch boxes has grown by 150% thanks to a convenient online order at food points.
• A system for paying for meals by pass has been introduced, excluding the need to use cash or bank cards.
• Lunches are now delivered to food areas closest to workplaces.

All menus and prices are collected in a single service for convenient selection and ordering.

A survey conducted among workers showed the need for a more flexible approach to catering as part of the social package.
