Orelenergo installed more than 18 thousand counters of new generation

In "Rosseti the Orelenergo Center" work on upgrade of systems of accounting of the electric power is continued. Within implementation of decrease in power losses more than 18 thousand counters of new generation since the beginning of year are installed in a zone of operational responsibility of the power company.

Metering devices have function of hourly multitariff electricity metering, the control of power and other parameters necessary for the consumer for planning of energy consumption and optimization of calculations for the electric power.

Installation of multifunction measuring complexes is performed within power service contracts of branch which implementation will allow to reduce considerably quantity of the facts of free-lance and non-accounting electricity consumption. In total until the end of the year in the area it is going to install 24800 intelligent metering devices, it will allow to reduce losses by 52 million kWh a year that in a cash equivalent will make - about 129 million rubles. On the saved means the company implements a number of the technical and organizational actions directed to quality improvement of power supply of consumers.
