2020: Implementation Pilot: PLM

The company "PC Transport systems", the developer and the producer of modern city electric transport, unrolled implementation of a software package ASCON for digital interaction of all engineering divisions. Designers and technologists on three production sites will conduct developments in a management system for engineering data Pilot: PLM and to use the system of normative and help information POLYNOM:MDM. On February 27, 2020 the ASCON company reported about it.

From ASCON the project executes the Regional center ASCON Volga.

The project startup is connected with transfer of production to own capacities "the PC the Transport systems" in Tver, St. Petersburg and Engels: development of technology services demanded serious IT support in a uniform circuit with designers to accelerate processes of information exchange and setting of products in production.

What is already made in the project:

• design documentation is transferred to the general for all the LOTSMAN:PLM system from the system of the electronic Pilot archive: CB in which only design divisions worked earlier
• the reference book Materials and Ranges is updated on the POLYNOM:MDM system to which the reference book by the technologist and the reference book Standard Products are connected.

According to the results of the first stage, the situation with data retrieval and relevance of design documentation considerably improved. Now we should start the system of design of technical processes of VERTIKAL for quality improvement of the issued technology documentation". told Rodion Michurov, the chief designer on rail transport "PC Transport Systems"

Design services "PC Transport Systems" continue to create electric transport samples in the KOMPAS-3D system, including the Russia's first pilotless tram.
