2020: System implementation of monitoring of manual labor of Solut

On July 20, 2020 the startup of SOLUT announced end of a pilot project of a monitoring system of manual labor in PIK group. On the basis of artificial intelligence technologies models of recognition of actions of employees during the working day were created. Project participants were provided with wearable devices which accumulated data on movements of the person and transferred them to the server for further recognition.

The SOLUT models provided recognition of work of personnel at two levels. For example, the enlarged production activities: "main work", "idle time", "movements", "installation of panels". Also the elementary actions characteristic of each specialty were distinguished: "spread solution", "insert heat insulation", "use the screw driver", "weld", etc.

The pilot project was carried out within half a year on three platforms "PIK-Industriya". The main objective was to adapt a monitoring system of SOLUT for application in three mass specialties of panel housing construction: plasterers, welders and bricklayers.

During trial operation it was succeeded to reach high quality models of recognition and to reveal effect of use of a system: decrease in a share of idle times and increase in net instrumental time. Increase in development of builders in running meters more than for 20% became the main outcome of a pilot project.
