2019: Optimization of heat supply in Yekaterinburg

On September 11, 2019 it became known of the agreement between the Slovenian power Petrol d.d. company Ljubljana, and Schneider Electric.

Principal direction of cooperation between Schneider Electric and Petrol d.d. companies, Ljubljana will become the project on optimization and increase in efficiency of a system of the centralized heat supply and also creation of automated management of this system in Yekaterinburg.

The end-to-end system of heat supply requires continuous and optimal heathydraulic control. A special heat load of a system which corresponds to required qualitative indexes of deliverable power sources is of particular importance. System operation in the long term depends on several factors: an operation mode of heatreceiving installations of consumers, weather conditions, operation modes of sources of heat and also technical faults arising on objects of thermal networks.

Within the project the company Petrol d.d., Ljubljana will be engaged in installation of a specialized software Schneider Electric and also development and deployment of information support of the automated control system for heat supply. Besides, the company Petrol d.d., Ljubljana plans implementing solution for design of reconstruction and system management based on the equipment and software of Schneider Electric for optimization of distribution of heat by forecasting of a heat load of network and optimization of temperature of network.

The Schneider Electric company, in turn, will implement the project on creation of the automated process control system for the systems of the centralized heat supply from a source before production and consumers.

Integral part of cooperation of Schneider Electric and Petrol d.d., Ljubljana companies is the agreement which regulates the initial stage of mutual business relations between two companies. A main objective of agreement signature — establishment and further development of the principles and conditions of cooperation and mutually beneficial business relations between the companies.
