2020: System implementation of management of the warehouse Logistics Vision Suite

"Polyplastics group" completed an implementation project of the warehouse management system Logistics Vision Suite on a warehouse complex with a total area more than 15,000 sq.m. The Ant Technologies company reported about it on September 28, 2020.

Warehousing capacit of the company are provided by several platforms performing functions of a warehouse by production, a finished goods warehouse, the distribution center, a warehouse of safe custody. The product line consists of the list of a type of polymeric pipe products of different function, the completing, loose and liquid raw materials, the equipment for production of pipeline systems and installation.

Need of implementation of the WMS system was caused by lack of the automated control system for a warehouse. The accounting of products was carried out in the accounting system of the enterprise. In a warehouse address storage was implemented.

The command of Ant Technologies was faced by a task to automate work of warehouse platforms, to increase efficiency of accomplishment of warehouse transactions, to organize transparent accounting of products, to configure rejection of products with photofixing on data collection terminals, to integrate WMS with ERP.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic implementation of WMS Logistics Vision Suite fell on a low season therefore to what a part of works it was made far off, and a part – is independently implemented by the Customer.

Thanks to harmonious work of project teams start of a warehouse in work under control of Logistics Vision Suite was performed in a short time without critical incidents. The warehouse operates normally, necessary consultation are carried out by the trainer within the project agreement.
