Rostelecom has modernized the system of centralized notification of the population in the Republic of Ingushetia

2024: Completion of the second stage of modernization of the regional automated centralized notification system

Rostelecom has completed the second stage of modernization of the regional automated centralized warning system of the Republic of Ingushetia (RASCO). The company's specialists commissioned a control point and 57 warning points equipped with Mars-Arsenal siren-speech installations. Thanks to the modernization, the coverage of the warning of the population of the republic reached 75%. Rostelecom announced this on March 25, 2024.

The importance of the ongoing measures to modernize the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the republic cannot be overestimated. Among the priorities remains the introduction of new technologies and modern information resources into its activities. The transition to digital will make it possible to more effectively improve the civil defense system, including taking into account new challenges, "said Mahmud-Ali Kalimatov, head of the Republic of Ingushetia.

The RASCO of the Republic of Ingushetia includes a regional center and local government points located in nine municipalities of the republic. In each area, the alert system is controlled by unified duty dispatch services, which can quickly transmit information about emergencies. The RSCS operates continuously around the clock and is in constant readiness to perform the assigned tasks.

The modernized warning system is technologically adaptive and, if necessary, can be integrated with the Safe City agro-industrial complex, the 112 System, the Smart City solution complex and the Integrated Population Life Safety System (KSOBZHN).

The operation of communication channels for RSCS is organized on the basis of a modern data transmission network. Primary and standby channels are used for connection reliability and stability. On the basis of our own developed telecommunication infrastructure, our specialists were able to provide stable communication for each facility. All devices are connected to a single network. Operators can control them locally and remotely. Modernization has increased the efficiency of the system and expanded its functionality, - commented Azamat Chakhkiev, director of the Ingush branch of Rostelecom.

From September 1, 2023, a new procedure for the creation, reconstruction and maintenance of warning systems for residents in constant readiness began to operate on the territory of Russia. The national provider implements projects to introduce automated systems that ensure reliable transmission of a signal about a possible danger in all regions of Russia.
