RusHydro and Rostelecom signed the agreement on strategic cooperation

2020: The agreement in the field of digital transformation

PJSC RusHydro and PJSC Rostelecom signed the agreement on strategic cooperation in the field of project implementation in the field of digital transformation. The document was signed the chairman of the board – the CEO of RusHydro Nikolay Shulginov and the president of Rostelecom Mikhail Oseevsky. On May 20, 2020 Rostelecom South reported about it.

The agreement defines the main directions and cooperative principles of RusHydro and Rostelecom when implementing joint projects of automation of commercial accounting of electrical energy at all enterprises of the RusHydro Group: generating, network and sales.

Increase in level of automation will be provided by use of uniform program and computing resources, creation of intelligent systems of accounting of electrical energy and a single cloud platform of power data. Together with it the parties agreed about expansion of use of intelligent metering devices of electrical energy and accomplishment construction and balancing and commissioning at the enterprises of the RusHydro Group, including works on data integration of accounting into a cloud platform of power data.

The agreement also provides to the enterprises of the RusHydro Group of communication services, cloud services, services of information security support and also joint project implementation on digital monitoring of power objects of RusHydro.

RusHydro pays considerable attention to digitalization of production processes therefore we are extremely interested in receiving high-quality, reliable telecommunication services and cloud services. Rostelecom has branched infrastructure and considerable experience of implementation of telecommunication projects which we can apply at the RusHydro enterprises and as result, to increase performance and efficiency of our work, said the head of RusHydro Nikolay Shulginov.

Rostelecom is objectively interested in development of strategic cooperation with such partner, important for us, as RusHydro. Our partnership will promote the further growth of digital revenue from implementation of cloud services, to obtaining new competences for our companies in the field of providing services for power industry, to increase in efficiency of use of own resources and resources of RusHydro when rendering services in operational maintenance, noticed the president of Rostelecom Mikhail Oseevsky.
