2020: End of a stage of test operation of a solar power plant on Lower Bureya hydroelectric power station
The Hevel group and PJSC RusHydro announced on July 23, 2020 end of a stage of test operation of a solar power plant on Lower Bureya hydroelectric power station. For the first half of the year 2020 the power station developed 558.7 thousand kWh of the electric power. According to the technical conclusion SES provided a considerable share of needs for the electric power for own needs of Lower Bureya hydroelectric power station that allowed to increase net electricity supply in network and to increase efficiency of hydroelectric power station. On the basis of the data obtained in the course of trial operation the decision on readiness of Lower Bureya SES for commercial operation was made.
The 1275 kW photo-electric system was installed in the territory of hydroelectric power station in December, 2019. On project implementation left less than a year.
Integration of solutions of solar power into work of hydroelectric power station – the first similar experience in Russia. Advantages of construction of such objects are the possibility of use of the existing power grid and transport infrastructure, existence on hydroelectric power station of highly qualified personnel and also lack of need of use of additional lands for needs of power, - the CEO of Hevel Group Igor Shakhrai noted. |
