2020: Transfer of infrastructure to Cloud4Y cloud

On March 4, 2020 the Cloud4Y company announced infrastructure of JSC Russkaya kozha transfer to a cloud.

Russian Leather — for March, 2020 is 6 manufacturing enterprises working in the tanning industry and supplying to the market genuine leather and products from it. Production capacities occupy about 480 thousand sq.m., the number of employees more than 1500 people. The Russian Leather group includes the Ryazan skinnery (JSC Russkaya skin), for more than 100-year history of work turned into the large modern industrial enterprise.

With organization development also its IT infrastructure was upgraded. The company consistently implements the strategy of digitalization and implements advanced technologies for better customer service. The flexible, scalable, reliable and economic platform is necessary for preserving of the leading positions in the market and quality improvements of production of tanning products, JSC Russkaya kozha. Therefore the company made a choice for benefit of cloud solutions.

The corporate cloud provider of Cloud4Y won the tender for rendering services of JSC Russkaya kozha, having provided the infrastructure sufficient for migration of the company in a cloud and the having sufficient performance to close the current and future demands of the company. Its fault tolerance became one more important advantage of cloud infrastructure, in the agreement SLA of 99.982% was specified.

Using the solution for backup based on Veeam, Cloud4Y together with technical department of the client in a short time prepared the plan of backup then implemented data transfer from virtual machines of JSC Russkaya kozha in a cloud. It allowed to save the continuity of business processes of the company.

Using cloud capacities of Cloud4Y provider on the IaaS model, the tanning company can process the large volume of data and execute resource-intensive transactions, at the same time having saved itself from need to invest regularly in service and upgrade of infrastructure.
