2019: The agreement on installation of the dvLED-display
On September 24, 2019 the NEC Display Solutions company reported that it signed the agreement with Saudi Telecom Company (STC) on installation of the dvLED-display of 256 sq.m with a step of a point of 1.5 mm - one of the world's largest LED displays for the situational centers and command centers. It will equip the master control center - Network Operating Centre. Besides, the agreement provides installation of 200 displays for installation in the security center (SOC) located in the Uniform operational center (Unified Network Operation Centre, UNOC) in a campus of STC in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).
According to the company, complex participation of NEC in this project includes design, production, delivery, installation, tests and commissioning of this huge videowall. Working in partnership with Saudi Media Systems, NEC will be responsible for delivery and installation about 216 videowalls, several displays in conference rooms and also for further delivery of small LED solutions. Besides, it will provide completely ready server complexes necessary for successful functioning of UNOC.
