The APCS of a utilities equipment of the Severodvinsk CHPP-2 is upgraded. On January 13, 2021 the Krug company reported about it.

The full-scale APCS of boiler units and GRP of the Severodvinsk CHPP-2 functions since 2011. A system was put into operation within the project on transfer of combined heat and power plant on combustion of natural gas with the assistance of specialists of KRUG company.

In this project the functionality of a system by inclusion in its structure of parameters of control of turbine units of Article No. No. 1-4 was expanded that allowed to obtain more quickly and precisely information on technology process of the station in general.

Main objectives of upgrade are achieved:

• the automated control of vibration, temperature, mechanical values of turbine units of Article No. No. 1-4 is provided
• possibilities of automated management of boilers of Article No. No. 1-2 are expanded
• monitoring of chemical processes on GRP is provided.

The software update of the Russian SCADA KRUG-2000 to the current version is carried out, algorithms of calculation of parameters of heat carriers of boilers are processed, the application software is developed for formation of hour sheets of a gas rate and capacity of boilers.

For control of chemical parameters of gas the cabinet of additional functions (CAF), for control of technology process of work of turbine units - RMT-59M devices is integrated into a system.

Works on upgrade were performed by specialists of KRUG company. In 2021 the APCS further expansion of power complexes and GRP of the Severodvinsk CHPP-2 is planned.
