The Solvo company completed Solvo.WMS system implementation on the central finished goods warehouse of furniture company "Shatura".

The company owns network of more than 600 corporate outlets in 67 regions of Russia and in the CIS countries. It is necessary to have the modern automated logistic center for their service. The company selected about 150 million rubles for expansion and complete technical retrofitting of a finished goods warehouse, and implementation of the automated control system, purchase costs and which implementation (together with the equipment) was made by more than 9 million rubles became the final stage of its reorganization.

Today the total area of a warehouse complex is 25 thousand sq.m, on it the finished goods intended for shipment to branches and to third-party clients are stored. The volume of shipments averages 15 thousands packages a day, with simultaneous handling works of 14 cars.

Implementation of the WMS system should provide management of all technology transactions in a warehouse in real time. System operation is based on technology of automatic identification, the principle of address storage and technology of remote control by personnel. Thus, a system allows to automate procedures of acceptance, placement, storage, processing and shipment of goods in a warehouse.

According to the developer, thanks to WMS at service of customers situations of shipment of the order in an incomplete complete set, costs for additional delivery of documents to the customer and return of orders are completely excluded. Costs for write-off of overdue goods are minimized, up to 99.9% the accuracy of data on quantity and placement of goods in a warehouse increases. Use of warehouse spaces is optimized thanks to what capacity increases from 5 to 25%. Rational use of the loading equipment, optimal use of the equipment, cutting of costs for transportation – all this promotes reduction of operating costs. Reduction of runtime of warehouse transactions leads to work performance improvement on average for 20-30%.
