2020: ERP Implementation
Prof-IT Group reported on December 9, 2020 about end of the project of introduction of Enterprise resource planning in Shcherbinsky Elevator Plant JSC.
The implementation of this system ensured accurate regulated and warehouse accounting. The project covered the work of two divisions of SCHLS, the departments of finance and logistics, in which 150 jobs are automated as of December 2020, which is 10% of the total number of employees of the enterprise.
With the introduction of the development, an information system began to operate at the plant, which helped to get away from outdated accounting methods and implement an integrated reporting management process. With the help of the 1C: ERP system, in terms of costing, we improved the quality of planning and cost optimization, "said Anton Artemyev, General Director of the Shcherbinsky Elevator Plant. |
As a result of the project implementation at SCHL, it was possible to reduce the time for preparing regulated and tax reports, improve the quality of data on warehouse processes, and ensure transparency of record keeping to accelerate management decisions. The areas of accounting and tax accounting, as well as warehouse logistics were automated, and the organization's production processes were simulated.
The work has improved the quality and reliability of the data used. It was also a difficult task to carry out the transfer of data on balances in warehouses quickly, to maintain the continuity of all processes. An additional challenge for the developer was the synchronization of actions within the project teams - the implementation of the 1C: ERP system took place simultaneously with the integration of the 1C: ZUP Salary and Personnel Management and 1C: MDM Master Data Management systems.
SCHLES, as a time-keeping manufacturer of elevator equipment with a long history, needed a functional platform that would optimize the business processes of the plant and help maintain its position in a highly competitive environment. We used the technological and design expertise of the company, as well as the experience of automation of large production enterprises, to provide the plant management with a reporting management tool. The implementation of the project was another step for us to expand the industry ERP expertise, "adds Evgeny Sudarkin, General Director of PROF-IT GROUP. |
In the future, SCHLES plans to expand the existing functionality of the system and continue the comprehensive automation of the enterprise.
