"The Siberian generation company" automated planning of staff expenses

On July 8, 2019 The First Beat company announced automation of planning of staff expenses in "Siberian Generation Company" (SGC) using the program of bits.FINANS/holdings. For the group consisting for July, 2019 of 60 legal entities with the total number of 32 thousand staff the uniform budgeting model of compensation with detailing is created.

At the time of the beginning of works in SGK there was no uniform approach to planning of staff expenses. Each business unit independently created budgets in spreadsheets or own systems.

In 2017 there was a need to unify planning process of staff expenses taking into account used in SGK the practician. Experts of First Bit were invited to solve this problem. For automation the solution of bits.FINANS/holdings was selected.

It was required to start process of budgeting in 3 months. In March, 2018 the schedule system for three pilot legal entities SGK began to work. Monthly other organizations were connected to process of budgeting of costs for wage fund — specialists of First Bit "on the run" expanded model of planning and finished a system.

The uniform budgeting model with detailing to the employee and a type of payments is as a result received. Actual data are loaded from the "1C: Payroll and HR Management" program through REST services. Planned data are calculated automatically proceeding from statistics of last years on holidays, hospital and other parameters. The analytics put in model allows to receive the reporting, necessary for the solution of managerial tasks.

"The most important result of implementation — the uniform model of planning for all business units with the maximum analytics is received. It gives great opportunities for information analysis. The implemented component analysis and scenario planning help to make the decisions confirmed by digits", noted Yury Andreyev, the project manager in SGK

Optimization of solution performance became one of problems of implementation. That a system could process transactions in 8 million lines, it was necessary to review a part of standard approaches. The program is integrated with a BI system in which information analysis is made.

"In this project it was important to receive fast results therefore we minimized a preparation stage, having defined only the key principles. Finished a system in process of receipt of information. It was necessary not easy because at each business unit the specifics and analytics. But this approach was repaid — for half a year the uniform methodology of budgeting of staff expenses is developed and a system on 130 users is implemented", noted Pavel Vasilyev, the project manager from The First Beat company
