At the end of April, 2020 the Snezhet Plant company reported that it summed up the first results of the project of creation of modern information space based on 1C:ERP. The Desnol Soft company acted as the partner in the project.

According to the company, till 2020 the plant used a system 1C: Management of manufacturing enterprise 1.3 with small completions. In a system blocks of Sale, Production, Warehouse, Regulated accounting were automated. In the long term the plant needed accounting development: digitalization of treasury, budgeting, management of repairs and automation of purchases — historical the system of it did not allow. Besides, maintenance and independent development 1C: MANUFACTURING ENTERPRISE MANAGEMENT, is less perspective, than investment into the system of the next generation. The decision to implement was made 1C:ERP as more modern and economic solution.

Transition to an information system for business development — the responsible step requiring not only investments, but also review of a part of processes of the enterprise. At the same time for us it was important to pass to a system in a short space of time, quickly to master it and to refuse completely parallel accounting in a "historical" system. The heat of a project work dropped out for December, 2019 — and we began to work in a system in the first working day of 2020. That it became possible, the experienced and competent integrator therefore we selected Desnol Soft company — Competence Center according to 1C:ERP was required for us.

Quality improvement of information for resource management of the enterprise due to transition to the modern information system 1C:ERP was a main objective of the project.

Project tasks was:

  • unroll and customize the information system 1C:ERP,
  • transfer historical data from 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management and fill out the normative reference information,
  • train users in work with a system,
  • begin work in a system in 3 business weeks after the beginning of the project,
  • do without duplication of accounting in 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management,
  • create in a system accounting and tax statements in 1 quarter 2020.

1C:ERP in Snezheti should cover all sections of business over time. For April, 2020 4 blocks are activated: "Production", Warehouse, Sales, Regulated accounting, the model of accounting of the Purchases block is prepared. In a system about 50 employees of the enterprise, from them a half — active users work, the others address a system from time to time.

At the time of start of implementation of start of system 1C: ERP at the plant practically came to the end implementation 1C: Payroll and HR Management of version 3.0. The decision not to use the Salary block and personnel management in 1C:ERP, and to configure integration between 1C: Payroll and HR Management and 1C:ERP was made.

Training started in 2 weeks after the beginning of the project in the form of demonstrations for user groups. The second grade level passed individually in workplaces, with real data. After-training of users in working base was carried out throughout all term of the project as required.

Transition to 1C:ERP did not assume expansion or changes of a circuit of automation therefore it was necessary in 1C:ERP by means of standard functionality to reproduce the current schemes of accounting. The main difficulties of implementation were:

  • Extremely project deadlines, from the beginning of implementation before start of operational accounting there passed 3 business weeks.
  • Accounting errors in a historical system which needed to be corrected for data transfer in the updated system. The Desnol Soft command carried out a number of works (modification of rules of transfer, the post-processing) allowing to normalize data in 1C:ERP.
  • Difference of processes of the customer from processes in standard functionality of 1C:ERP. Schemes of accounting prepared "on the run", processes which did not lay down on standard functionality were quickly rebuilt. As at the enterprise there are no difficult processes, such approach allowed to optimize project costs: correct processes more economically, than finish a system under processes.

As a result of the project company:

  • Achieved quality improvement of information for resource management of the enterprise due to transition to the information system 1C:ERP.
  • Did without conducting parallel accounting in "historical" and other systems.
  • Started operational accounting in 3 weeks after the beginning of the project.
  • Achieved introduction of data in the mode for the 3rd day of work in a system "to the day".
  • In time closed 1 quarter and prepared the regulated reporting.

Qualitative results:

  • Department of logistics (the block of the Warehouse system, for April, 2020 is conducted in Excel): The model of accounting of the Purchases block for independent transfer of MTS in 1C:ERP is prepared
  • For accounting (the block of the Regulated accounting system): Acceleration of preparation of the regulated reporting. Quality improvement of data, accounting errors in a historical system are corrected.
  • For department of IT (blocks of the Warehouse system (write-off), all blocks (administration, consultation): Simplification of support of a system due to the maximum use of standard functionality. Updating of a system in the normal mode.
  • For the management (blocks of the system "Sales", "Production", "Warehouse" (reporting): Transparency and relevance of data. Improvement of the analysis and control. Data availability at any moment. Management decisions are made quicker and on the basis of exact data.

Economic results:

  • Acceleration of preparation of the regulated reporting for the period — 50%
  • Acceleration of closing of the period — 50%

With implementation of 1C:ERP accelerated preparation of the quarter regulated reporting and closing of the period. The 20th account (production costs, calculation and justification of cost value of the made products) is easier closed, at its formation in 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management we often faced difficulties. During the project the quality of data in all information streams for the reporting considerably improved. These systems became more transparent that allows us to correct the current errors of accounting quickly.

Within several months after project finish we cope with closing of the period in a system independently, without the address to support. Since January 1, 2020 became effective changes in an order of application of PBU 18/02 (accounting of calculations for income tax), system implementation allowed us to begin quickly accounting by these rules.

Important advantages which system implementation — managerial gives: possibility of obtaining any data from a system directly, transparency and relevance of information on all key indicators of the enterprise. It demands from employees of more responsible and attentive work with information that it, eventually, increases quality of plant operation in general — management decisions are made quicker and on the basis of real data. We received the functional platform for business management which we will continue to develop.
