2022: FSS creates an IT system for exchanging data on the health of employees of companies

April 8, 2022 it became known about the creation by the Social Insurance Fund (FSS) of a new IT system, which is designed to exchange data on the health of company employees. At the first stage of the project, research and development work will be carried out, for which the fund will pay 21.6 million rubles.

According to RBC with reference to the materials of the corresponding tender, the construction of a new information system will allow "to receive reliable information about the state of health of employees of enterprises." Through it, organizations will be able to transfer information about the state of health of employees and labor protection measures to the existing EIS Sosstrakh.

A new IT system has been created, which is designed to exchange data on the health of employees of companies.

According to the publication in the press service of the FSS, by April 2022 the list of information on labor protection measures and the health of employees sent by the employer is limited, while data are received through various channels. Some information is submitted electronically, but most of it is provided by the policyholders in paper form.

The prototype of the information system, the creation of which implies a contract, will facilitate the provision of such data by the employer, and will also expand the set of information that he will be able to provide to the FSS to justify compensation payments, the publication was told in the fund.

The project's task is to reduce insurance cases and insurance payments, the information transmitted to the FSS will allow "with a high degree of reliability to determine bottlenecks in the activities of enterprises that cause the greatest damage to the health of workers." In particular, it is assumed that the FSS will be able to specifically finance measures in the identified areas, which should reduce injuries, the number of occupational diseases, cases and days of temporary disability, which will save budget money.[1]
