2020: Transfer of communications to the Microsoft Office 365 platform

The Sollers group transferred the workflows to Microsoft Office 365. Implementation |of a cloud service and its integration into the current infrastructure of the enterprise were carried out by Prof IT company, the Russian digital industrial integrator which reported about it on June 18, 2020.

Due to the transition to a remote operation mode, the organization of effective and safe communications in group for operational acceptance of management, production and strategic decisions became one of priority tasks of holding. The tool which would allow to go beyond perimeter of classical infrastructure was required for the company and to organize the protected distributed environment of interaction, to conduct transparent and end-to-end setting and control of tasks. Important feature is that personal data of employees are not processed in clouds of Office 365, saving confidentiality.

Within the project hybrid implementation at which 500 employees of holding passed to work into a cloud service of Microsoft was performed, and the others continued to work in the current infrastructure. At the same time these two environments are integrated among themselves and support end-to-end workflows.

Thanks to the solution proposed by PROF-IT GROUP we could create a common information space for the organization of collective work of top management, at the same time saved succession with the existing infrastructure. The project was implemented less than in a month in the period of a pandemic when all employees were in the mode of self-isolation and worked far off - competently built communication process was more than ever very important at this time. Transition to Office 365 took place in the smooth mode, changes did not affect the continuity of our current business processes at all. Transition to cloud model allowed us to optimize project implementation time, to improve control and transparency of accomplishment of tasks, to lower load of IT maintenance and to focus on support of strategic business priorities, - Zoya Kaika, the deputy CEO of PJSC SOLLERS commented.

Transition to a global cloud of Office 365 allows the company to provide a unified environment of communications, flexibility, simplicity of management and cost reduction on IT and the high level of security. The platform provides to employees access to full-function applications for increase in productivity of joint work: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, SharePoint, OneDrive and Microsoft Teams. These documents can be created and changed directly in the browser. Cloud infrastructure reduces number of date leaks of holding thanks to five security levels and monitoring. The guaranteed time of operability of technology is 99.9%.

More and more companies select a remote operation mode therefore communications of the management and commands became a paramount task. For group SOLLERS we did a great job on integration of two environments, it was rather difficult and capacious project. As a result employees received the instrument of convenient collective work which allows to create meetings, to monitor discussions, to conduct chronology of succession of events, to organize closed channels of communication, to regulate privacy levels, to conduct work in groups and projects, to save and exchange documents, - Evgeny Sudarkin, the CEO of PROF-IT GROUP commented.
