Rostelecom installed a video surveillance system at the Zvezda plant in Kalmykia

On July 11, 2019 Rostelecom announced the organization of a video surveillance system for JSC Zvezda Plant in the Republic of Kalmykia. Within the project specialists of the company laid about 300 meters of the optical fiber cable and installed 4 IP video cameras for control of the territory of the enterprise.

Video broadcast of vantage points with wide angle of the overview is conducted in the round-the-clock mode. Cameras have infrared illumination that guarantees the sharp image at insufficient lighting at night.

Video surveillance is the effective tool for security of any objects, whether it be the enterprise, office or the house. Service of remote video control allows to integrate geographically distributed cameras in one system and to manage a videoarchive. Videos are stored on the protected servers of Rostelecom and are available to the client within 180 days.

Video surveillance allowed us to save connection of service on purchase of the expensive equipment and installation of the corresponding network infrastructure. Records from cameras became convenient to be looked both from the computer, and through a special application from the smartphone. If necessary we address record in archive.
