The youth center of the North-Eastern Administrative District is going to implement an implementation project of the systems of television presence

The concept of telecommunication infrastructure of the pilot multifunction youth center which is under construction in Moscow is created based on the equipment Cisco.

Objectives

"Our youth center is positioned as the innovation therefore equipment installation is of particular importance, conforming to the highest requirements and integrating all modern opportunities of telecommunications. The matter is that infrastructure of organization will be used at the same time for the organization of communication and as the evident manual for the young specialists developing new technical solutions. For this reason a choice was made for benefit of products of Cisco company. In particular, during demonstration of opportunities of the joint work with remote platforms which is carried out for the Mayor of Moscow we used EX90 Cisco video systems. Finally the specification of telecommunication equipment for the center will be approved within the tender procedures", – the director of the state budgetary institution (SBI) "Youth Center of the North-Eastern Administrative District" Oleg Pokusayev explains.

About the Project

The multifunction youth center will become the platform for development and completion of the innovation projects which authors are young people aged from 14 up to 30 years. The purpose of its creation – to contribute to the development of business competence and disclosure of creative potential of youth. Besides, organization will organize cooperation of talented youth and potential employers that will facilitate process of employment of young people. In addition to examination of projects the center will give to the beginning inventors an opportunity to bring them to the level attractive to the large Russian and international companies.

For the organization of effective joint work in the center the modern equipment of video conference Cisco TelePresence will be installed. In particular, the visual communication system will allow experts from any place in the world (including to representatives of the innovation center "Skolkovo", the advanced universities of Russia and also the international experts) to participate in assessment of the developed projects. Through remote participation of young specialists in seminars and conferences it is going to expand audience of the actions which are taking place in the center. In plans of the multifunction center – video conferencing with simultaneous connection of five-six platforms.

Construction of the innovation youth center in the North-Eastern Administrative District (NEAD) of Moscow was initiated by city Department of family and youth policy and the prefecture of the district. The first multifunction center will begin work in September, 2012, and further the similar centers will be constructed and open in all districts of the capital.
