Corus Consulting conducted examination of information systems and IT infrastructure in Svyaztransneft

On April 23, 2019 Corus Consulting Group announced completion of audit of IT infrastructure and information systems in JSC Svyaztransneft, affiliated enterprise PJSC Transneft. According to the results of the project assessment of a current status of infrastructure solutions is performed, the analysis of use of licenses and technical support services is carried out, offers on optimization of use of the information systems providing internal business processes and the systems of operational support are submitted.

The project was implemented by CORUS Consulting Group in two stages. On the first the analysis of IT structure (data on the used information systems are collected, the list of the server hardware and software versions is made) is carried out, conditions of agreements of maintenance and expenses on service staff are analyzed. At the second stage changes in an IT landscape and the organization of maintenance of the hardware, a measure for increase in a maturity of management processes are offered, assessment of possible cutting of costs for operation of information systems and the hardware and software is performed.

The results received according to the results of audit showed us risk zones at the organization of maintenance of the hardware and software and also methods of reduction of operating costs. Following the recommendations of Corus Consulting we will be able to increase fault tolerance of IT infrastructure, to update the directions of development of information systems both in corporate, and in technology sectors, to improve processes of management and monitoring of IT resources.
