2020: Implementation of an ACS purchases of the enterprise

Russian the producer heavy-load cars "URALS" passed on automated control system purchases of the enterprise "PROF-IT SRM: Purchase management". The project was executed by the company PROF-IT GROUP, Russian digital industrial integrator which reported about it on December 21, 2020.

After an exit of Automobile plant "Ural" from the structure of the GAZ group, one of priority tasks for management there was an evolution of a number of the business processes of the enterprise which were earlier relating to the level of head holding. Stable work of the enterprise and production required improvement of work with product suppliers and components. As the answer to this call the plant's management made the decision on implementation of an integrated automated control system and operating control of purchasing activity on the basis of the new software product "PROF-IT SRM: Purchase management".

The implemented solution provides optimization and automation of all cycle of purchasing activity of the Ural plant. The project covered nine divisions of the enterprise in which more than 100 employees work. A system allows to carry out requirements analysis of the organization, to reduce terms of search of suppliers, to reduce labor input of procurement procedures and volumes of paper document flow, to manage purchases and logistics, to control and estimate quality of work of suppliers. The solution provides control automation with purchases in accurate compliance with requirements 223-FZ and 44-FZ.

The solution architecture also includes the portal of suppliers within which it is possible to perform questioning of partners, to send inquiries and to receive technical commercial offers, to exchange contractual and consignment documents, to approve orders and delivery schedules, to monitor movements of goods and to provide a feedback to suppliers.

Within the project the full integration of the solution with the existing accounting systems was carried out that considerably increased the speed of working off of requests and conducting document flow within purchasing processes.

All follow-up activity of the company depends on correctly built work with suppliers: timely release of cars, and, therefore, and profit earning. Thanks to the functional solution and high qualification of specialists of PROF-IT GROUP company we managed to automate business processes of purchasing activity in the shortest possible time with preserving of planned rates of production, - Evgeny Neschastny, the director of logistics of Automobile plant "Ural" comments.

On expert evaluations, use of management systems for purchases can increase the speed of deliveries to 20%, improve product quality and service of suppliers for 40%, to lower purchase costs to 15% – due to consolidation of requirements of divisions. Thanks to automation of routine transactions the solution reduces labor input of procurement procedures and volumes of paper document flow, reduces terms of search of suppliers and guarantees implementation of deliveries according to the stated plans.
