2025: Omnichannel Microservice Platform Comprehensive Audit

The bank Uralsib , together with the company Neoflex , on March 6, 2025 announced the completion of a project for an integrated audit omnicanal of a microservice platform for bank effective customer service. As a result of the project, the bank received an independent assessment of the current state of the system. Neoflex experts praised the platform and made more than 100 recommendations to further improve its performance, scalability and development.

Neoflex specialists conducted an audit of the omnichannel microservice platform of Uralsib Bank, which connects the Internet Bank, mobile application and other digital channels with ABS, credit pipelines and other applications. The platform provides universal integration mechanisms, improves service reliability and flexibility, provides APIs for partner solutions, and makes an important contribution to quality customer service. Due to the constant increase in the number and activity of service users, as well as the expansion of functionality, the bank needs to ensure a high level of security, reliability and readiness of the system for development.

The audit covered the technical aspects of the platform, the organization of its development and maintenance processes. Neoflex certified experts studied the architecture and infrastructure of the platform, confirmed the correctness of the chosen approach, architecture and technology stack, analyzed the quality of software solutions, and also assessed the processes for developing, testing and implementing updates. In addition, an analysis of client data protection and compliance with information security requirements was carried out. This comprehensive approach provided a holistic picture of the current level of development of the system, its compliance with the best industry practices and future business needs.

Based on the results of the audit, a detailed report and recommendations were provided to increase platform performance, optimize development processes, DevOps, CI/CD, and effectively release updates. In addition, solutions have been proposed related to the integration of security issues in the early stages of development, which helps to reduce risks and increase the overall security of the system. Based on the recommendations, a roadmap for the development of the omnichannel platform has been formed, which the Uralsib IT team plans to gradually implement in cooperation with Neoflex.
