The software update of bank terminals was implemented jointly with Sberbank, reported on June 19, 2020 in X5.

The project is implemented on all cash desks retail chain stores Pyaterochka, Intersection and Roundabout, including cash desks of self-service, in all regions of presence. The client can pay purchases with the bank card of any emitting bank with the expired validity period. Cards of payment service providers Visa MasterCard WORLD JCB, are for payment accepted by CUP.

Sberbank is exclusive merchant acquirer for all retail chain stores of X5. Software updating of bank terminals happened in record time, all necessary technical settings were carried out ahead of schedule and in the remote mode.

According to representatives of X5, implementation of service will create additional convenience to buyers and an opportunity to pay goods, without thinking of card expiration date in the conditions of limited access to financial services.
