2019: Contract signature on system implementation Prana
On December 24, 2019 it became known that RusHydro and "POTEK" signed the contract on system implementation of predictive analytics and remote monitoring PRANA on the Yakut GRES-2. PRANA will trace and predict technical condition of 4 gas turbine units of General Electric of LM 6000 PF DF, 4 Brush turbine generators, 4 boilers utilizers KUV-38.1-185, 2 booster Atlas Copco TP10T22D1 and 4 compressor units of block transformers.
The Yakut GRES-2 was selected by RusHydro as one of the first objects of implementation of prognostics as power supply of the capital of the republic and 10 adjacent areas with the population more than half a million residents of Yakutsk depends on reliability of operation of its units functioning in permafrost zone.
Application of a System PRANA on the Yakut GRES-2 will allow to anticipate beforehand emergence of accidents, to increase quality of operation and fuel efficiency. Timely identification of the arising defects of the equipment will give the chance to estimate a residual resource of elements of the capital technology equipment and as a result, to reduce frequency and cost of maintenance and repairs. A system PRANA which is every second registering and saving all the volume of operation parameters of the connected machines will allow to increase objectivity of quality evaluation of repair work, to identify defects because of manufacturing plants, will provide full control of accomplishment of service maintenance[1].
