Video conferencing (VKS) is a technology for interactive interaction between two or more remote users, in which video and audio information can be exchanged between them in real time.
Modern video conferencing systems solve the following problems:
- overcoming geographic barriers to communications within the company/organization;
- increased involvement of remote workers;
- support for work from the home office;
- Reduce the number of business trips and associated expenses
- holding corporate events;
- student education;
- automated recording and transcribing of discussions within video conferencing.
Russian Video Conferencing Market: Estimates, Drivers, Largest Participants
At the end of 2023, TAdviser turned to Russian experts in the video conferencing market (VKS) with a request to comment on the situation with import substitution in this area, take stock of recent years and share their vision of the future. According to experts, the VKS market has shown stable growth since the beginning of the pandemic. And with the departure of Western vendors in 2022, the share of Russian suppliers increased significantly. In the ranking of the largest suppliers of video conferencing systems (VKS), prepared by TAdviser in 2022, 11 companies took part - vendors and integrators of such solutions. The leader of the overall rating was the HaiTek Group Hi-Tech. It increased its revenues from the implementation of VKS projects by 162.5% to 1.5 billion rubles.
