2017: TimeInformer is upgraded

On July 25, 2017 the SearchInform company announced expansion of functionality of a system of accounting of working time TimeInformer.

The program is equipped with functionality of categorization of the websites from "black list" of Roskomnadzor and creates for the administrator the report on attempts of visit of resources of this list and time spent on them during the working day.

The technology is created for control over visit of web pages with an inappropriate content and automation of audit of actions of employees from "risk groups".

TimeInformer allows the employer to monitor visit of the blocked resources from working PCs. A system fixes visit attempts (if the employee entered a request or the address, but did not get access because of blocking), and time spent on the website (if the employee managed to bypass blocking using the proxy server or the anonymizer). The program of control will automatically distribute a resource in the Roskomnadzor group and will notify the administrator.

We received addresses from clients who wanted to see such functionality in a system. The task is relevant for many organizations therefore we delivered completion in a priority and released the new version as fast as possible. Dmitry Izosimov, head of partnership department of TimeInformer

2016

SearchInform introduces a subscription fee on TimeInformer

Since September 15, 2016 the SearchInform company introduces a subscription fee on a control system of working time of TimeInformer – now the program is available on a subscription. Licenses for 3, 6 and 12 months are provided in the updated tariff plan. Introduction of flexible "subscription fee" will allow the companies to control efficiency even of temporary employees with the minimum costs.

The subscription to TimeInformer with time limit added the existing options of use of the program. Earlier users selected between the paid perpetual license or the free version with restriction on quantity or the period.

SearchInform will free of charge grant three licenses TimeInformer

On June 9, 2016 the SearchInform company announced a possibility of free use of a system of accounting of working time of TimeInformer. Now small business can increase efficiency, having set 3 perpetual licenses of the program.

The TimeInformer system is intended for automatic control of work of computers, defines activity of employees in any programs and applications, fixes time of arrival and departure of the employee, quantity and duration of breaks, also many other things take pictures of PC screens. The functionality of the free version of a system is not limited in any way.

The management of SearchInform came to the decision on three free perpetual licenses including because of addresses of individuals. Users want to monitor the activity, to analyze what is the time is useless their relatives will see off on the Internet. To parents it is important that their children, being in network, are not endangered and do not "walk" on the forbidden websites.

WorkTime Monitor from SearchInform replaced a name with TimeInformer

In June, 2016 SearchInform replaced the name of a system of accounting of working time WorkTime Monitor with TimeInformer ("TimeInformer"). The solution to replace a name of a system is caused by two reasons, explained in the company. The first was caused by the fact that the name WorkTime is already used by several companies, including foreign. The second reason consists that the new name, according to developers, easier is perceived and remembered and also reflects better tasks which the program helps to solve.

WorkTime Monitor 2.1

In January, 2016 SearchInform released the version of a product for the automated accounting and efficiency analysis of working time of WorkTime Monitor 2.1.

WorkTime Monitor controls all actions of the employee in a workplace in real time and also analyzes data on activity of personnel and provides summary reports. In version 2.1 of updating concerned both functionality, and the interface. One of the most important changes was the fact that in the new version of a system it is possible to set differentiation of the rights to viewing the intercepted data on these or those users / user groups.

Earlier WorkTime Monitor consisted of three different applications (the console of the administrator, Report Center and SearchInform Client). Now the functionality of a system was located more conveniently: all server and client modules in the new version are united in the uniform application, told in the company.

Reports

The Reports tab is used for two aspects: creations of the user reports (templates) and also which are automatically created and sent to mail of reports.

In version 2.1 the option of transition to search in the intercepted data directly from the report appeared. The feature for detailing of the interesting information from the report on any of interception modules in Initial data is also added. So now it is possible to study in detail the intercepted information, without putting down complementary filters.

There was a new report "An indicator of productivity of users". The report is intended for identification of employees whose activity meets the set criteria of productivity.

Initial data

The tab is intended for formation of a request, display of the list of results and viewing the selected documents. The configured request can be saved for the subsequent its selection in the list and quick search. Thereby it is always possible to return to earlier displaid/received result.

In upgraded version of the program for data of the module ProgramSniffer developers added a feature for direct jump to screenshots/video files of MonitorSniffer.

In addition, the functionality of the choice of the filter of search in date (the filter of "relative time" appeared) and the choice from what databases it is necessary to look at information is optimized. For convenience it is possible to select and combine different modules of interception now.

Current activity

The tab allows to browse information on activity of employees in real time. For the monitoring modes in real time (LiveView and LiveSound) there was an opportunity to select one of three types of display of networked environment (the list of computers in network): groups and computers — there is a list of all computers collected on the Active Directory groups; only computers — the simple list of all computers of the company; only computers with agents — the simple list of computers on which agents are installed.

Management of agents

The tab is provided for installation, setup and removal of agents at target workstations. Earlier for installation and removal of agents several application were demanded. Starting with version 2.1, in Management of agents it is possible to create a MSI packet which the agent allows to set and delete manually. For all these actions the application is used, at its start it is enough to select necessary action from a dialog box.

Administration

The tab contains tools for setup of the program. All settings which were in different applications earlier are located in one place now. Also in version 2.1 there was an opportunity to analyze the remained disk space.

In the Administration tab it is possible to set differentiation of the rights to viewing the intercepted data on these or those users / user groups.

2014

The SearchInform company provided in February, 2014 a product for the automated accounting and efficiency analysis of working time – SearchInform WorkTime Monitor.

Annually the companies lose tens of thousands of paid man-hours during which employees instead of accomplishment of the direct duties play games, watch entertaining videos, communicate on social networks or just arrange a smoke break after the tea drinking. As a result of it business sustains enormous losses, paying to the careless employees the money which is not earned with them. Thanks to SearchInform WorkTime Monitor of the company can avoid similar losses and increase efficiency of all collective, revealing and punishing idlers, and encouraging the most hardworking employees, it was said in the statement of the developer.

SearchInform WorkTime Monitor has the modular architecture allowing to control all actions of the worker in his workplace in real time and also to analyze data on activity of personnel in a retrospective.

The module SearchInform ActivityMonitor which is a part of SearchInform WorkTime Monitor allows to obtain the comprehensive information about activity of the employee in these or those applications during the day. Thanks to it it is possible to reveal whether the worker was engaged in official matters, or had a good time at the expense of the employer. At this SearchInform ActivityMonitor authentically defines whether really worked with the application, or it just was started in the background.

Also SearchInform ActivityMonitor allows to define time of appearance of the employee behind a workplace and time of its leaving, completely recreating a picture of the working day and helping to reveal late or leaving too early.

Other component SearchInform WorkTime Monitor, SearchInform MonitorSniffer, allows to take screenshots of the user with the started applications. Screenshots can be taken both on the preset schedule, and on condition of approach of certain events (applications launch, opening of certain pages in the browser, etc.). Also at any moment of SearchInform MonitorSniffer can display in real time at the same time up to sixteen user screens.

The module SearchInform Keylogger allows to intercept all data and also all data copied by the user in a clipboard entered by the user on the keyboard.

SearchInform SearchClient gives unprecedented opportunities of the analysis in the industry of the data obtained using other modules, allowing to elicit one and all facts of inappropriate use of working time for exact calculation of the amount of penalties to the guilty workers.

At last, the module SearchInform ReportCenter, the last in the list of the SearchInform WorkTime Monitor components, but not the last on importance, allows to build evident reports, identifying the most effective and most inefficient workers. SearchInform ReportCenter is also able to automatically determine and notify responsible persons on abnormally low or high activity of employees in certain applications, on delay or too early going away from work, etc.
