The Bank of Russia since February 9, 2017 revoked a license for banking operations from JSB Yenisei (Krasnoyarsk). It is said in the statement of the Central Bank that the decision on revocation of license is made in connection with non-execution by credit institution of the federal laws regulating banking activity and regulations of the Bank of Russia.
"The credit institution pursued the high risk credit policy connected with placement of money in low-quality assets. Adequate assessment of the accepted risks and reliable reflection of asset cost of bank leads to complete loss of its own means (capital)".
Besides, Yenisei did not perform the requirement of supervisory authority about creation of necessary reserves of possible losses and also about submission of the reporting reflecting its real financial position and existence of the bases for revocation of license on banking operations. The management and owners of bank did not take effective measures on normalization of its activity, notes the regulator.
