This model appeared in the early nineties. It is focused on the enterprises, state institutions and the military organizations. Its essence is based that the manufacturing enterprise is not education, independent of the external environment, and represents a part of the system connecting a chain raw materials sources — production — shipment to the end user. Driving force of development in it — not production, and the requests of end consumers extending the required components starting necessary production resources and connecting networks of distributors from raw materials sources. Feature of the SCOR model is that in the head of all processes planning is put. As a result degree of responsibility and demand of the tools which are responsible for business planning at the different levels raises (strategic, tactical, operational).
Groups of business processes of the SCOR model
